Hi class,

I know this has been a weird experience we've all be going through. But I'm pretty sure you've been enjoying the free time. But sitting around playing video games can also get boring. I wish that IT could have loaded AutoCAD, but that couldn't happen either. But I have a fairly easy way for us all to get back into it. Autodesk, the creators of AutoCAD, have developed a 3D Online CAD program that every one of you can use for free and it's online. Your assignment for final grade simply depends on your effort to learn this very simple CAD program. At least enough to draw anything that can be plotted on the 3D printer. Please don't draw just a box. Put some imagination into it...

Here's the link: https://www.tinkercad.com

1. Make and account on the website.

2. Go through the tutorial:

3. Figure out what you want to draw. They have sample drawings on the website.

4. Draw your subject.

5. When completed, hit print screen on your computer with your drawing view or view on it. Open Paintbrush and paste the image or images into it. Save the paintbrush image, then email them to me at tim@technicaldrawing.us or t.davis@mcminnschools.com.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE INTERNET ACCESS: Draw an idea or concept to scale if you can on paper. When done, drop it off at the school to my attention.

Thanks and I miss you all, PLEASE EMAIL ME AT tim@technicaldrawing.us if need be. Check below for the stages of this set of lessons.
